Moments That Transform

The landscape of higher education is shifting dramatically in terms of student demographics, technology, public accountability, degree valuation, global competition, and the rising costs of tuition and student debt. As a result, Miami needs a new bold and innovative plan to achieve its vision to offer "the best undergraduate experience in the nation, enhanced by superior, select graduate programs."

We are in the process of developing University-level metrics to ensure we are achieving our goals. President Hodge will be reporting on these metrics to the Board of Trustees over the next five years. Each unit of the university will be developing finer-grained metrics that are appropriate to the unit and contribute to the university objectives and metrics.
