Healthy Together
The Marcum Hotel & Conference Center follows the cleaning and sanitation guidelines provided by the CDC, Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association to keep our guests and staff safe.
- All staff and guests are required to wear masks and maintain social distance when moving throughout the building.
- Housekeeping staff have been trained to properly clean and disinfect all areas of the hotel.
- All disinfectant products are hospital-grade and approved by the Environmental Protection Agency for use against emerging pathogens.
- Each hotel room, meeting room and all public spaces are disinfected using Vital Oxide during routine cleaning. More information can be found at https://vitaloxide.com/
- Hand sanitizer is located at key points throughout the building for guest and staff use.
- Linens and towels are washed and sanitized through a commercial laundry service following all guidelines.
- High-touch areas in public spaces are disinfected frequently and include lobby tables, furniture, counter tops, elevator buttons, water fountains, entry and exit doors, stair railings, door handles, and restrooms.
- Front desk attendants disinfect all pens, hotel key cards, and credit card devices after each use.
- In accordance with the social distancing requirements of COVID-19 safety procedures, continental breakfast in the lobby has been discontinued. Each guest will receive a coupon for a free meal at one of our Dining Commons locations. Please see https://www.miamioh.edu/campus-services/dining/places-to-eat/index.html for information on locations or ask the front desk attendant for choices and locations.
