The OWP Teaching of Writing Workshop meant the world to me. It helped me to rediscover myself as a writer and remember why I chose to teach this subject. It introduced me to teachers that have the same values as I do and provided me with an encouraging network of game changers. It equipped me with countless strategies that will help me to become a better teacher of writing. But most of all, it reminded me why I became a teacher in the first place.
