2022-23 Women in Physics

About the Program

The Women in Physics of Miami University is a club who purposefully support the recruitment, retention, and career development of physics students, especially women. We collaborate with other STEM related organizations on campus, and participate in programs organized by the American Physical Society. Women in Physics is funded by ASG (Associated Student Government) and APS (American Physical Society) Women in Physics Group Grant. There is no payment associated with being a member of the club. Any student regularly enrolled in Miami University may become a member of the Women in Physics club with voting and office-holding privileges. To be a member of the organization, a member must be listed on The Hub. If an individual is not listed, they are not an official member of the organization and have no voting rights and may not hold office. Attendance of meetings is not mandatory for members. We plan to meet every week. Contact the President, Hannah McDougall, for more information!
