The Miami University Percussion Ensemble performed its spring concert on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Hall Auditorium. Under the direction of Michael LaMattina, the ensemble performed a mixed program of concert percussion music and Balinese Gamelan selections.

The program opened with two works by Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto: Forbidden Colours and Rain. Both works combine elements of classical, pop, and electronica that create unique and memorable music.
