What are you most looking forward to for the future?

I am looking forward to the audition process for upcoming performing opportunities while I am in Indianapolis. I will also be participating in the Indianapolis Opera Chorus for some performances this school year.

How did you hear about these opportunities?

I am originally from the Indianapolis area and knew I needed a place that was familiar to me. I also had some friends that have participated in these opportunities and had amazing experiences. Preparing for these opportunities involved a lot of planning ahead, auditioning, and working with my professors to be considered.

What are you most proud of during your time at Miami?

I am most proud of the performances and relationships that I made here. It was incredibly rewarding to perform, especially in the operas. I loved working hard and being able to show my hard work to my family and friends on stage. The relationships that I gained while at Miami are ones that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Please share an inspiring story from your time at Miami.

During my first semester at Miami, I was very shy and hard on myself. All of my peers were so talented. By my Masters recital, I was so much more confident in my own abilities. My professors repeatedly told me how proud of my diligence and how much I had improved. To me, that is inspiring and reminds me that I can do anything I put my mind to.
