Dept Homepage in a 3 Column Layout

This Department Homepage Sample uses a 3 column layout.

This layout puts two widgets on the left side of the page and 1 widget in the right side of the page.

Widget 1 = 25%

Widget 2 = 25% each

Widget 3 = 50% each

Use Widgets

Use the widgets to introduce visitors to the great aspects of your department.  Consider your majors / minors / programs as a product (with a hefty price tag) that consumers are buying.  Why would they want to chose YOUR product over another univerisity's?  Your home page and your major and minor pages should show viewers the value in attending Miami.  You can use videos, images, and anecdotes to make your program come alive for prospective students!

This sample page will show what other departments across campus are doing with widgets.  See something you like??  Copy the widget to your site and edit it.
