The College of Engineering and Computing strives to provide an exceptional experience for their students both in and outside of the classroom. Our incredible faculty members teach the students the technical knowledge needed for our students to be successful. In order to give the students an amazing overall experience, CEC partners with industries. These industry partnerships result in students seeing what engineering in the real world is all about, realizing that there are infinite career paths, and understanding their impact on the world.

What we do

Our company partners have access to top notch engineering students throughout their time at Miami, build their company brand on campus, and collaborate with faculty on research projects.

CEC also prides itself on working with organizations to develop workforce solutions to help meet the current and future needs of engineering industries.

Upskilling Opportunities

Miami Offers many upskilling and continuing education courses. These pair with Ohio TechCred for free education and upskilling for your and your employees.

Introduction to FDA Regulations and Medical Device Laws

Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Evaluation Courses

Center for Analytics and Data Science (CADS) offers courses and modules that can be taken by individuals or hosted by corporations. Certificates are issued for course and module completion.  Examples of course topics include defining common statistics data science terms, introducing common data science techniques, data based decision making basics, problem framing, and data storytelling.  These courses are incredible opportunities to upskill yourself or your workforce and can be customized to meet your company's needs.
