Students in the Chemical, Paper, and Biomedical Engineering Department may choose one or more of three majors offered by our department:  Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Management.   

Biomedical Engineering

Biomedical engineering is the integration of life sciences with engineering to develop solutions for healthcare related problems as well as to create new biology-inspired methodologies for computing, design, and engineering.

Chemical Engineering

Chemical engineers create products and processes in areas as diverse as synthetic chemicals and fibers, pharmaceuticals, energy, environment and pulp and paper products.

Engineering Management

Engineering management is an integration of business and engineering that offers students the opportunity to gain an interdisciplinary engineering education that prepares them for careers in engineering and management.
