The Student Engagement and Leadership (SEAL) Awards celebrates all student organizations on their achievements over the last year, and recognizes organizations and student leaders who have been particularly successful and influential. The awards for the 2016-2017 school year was held on April 18, 2017 and Engineers Without Borders was particularly successful. Halle Miller, a senior chemical engineering major who was president of EWB until December 2016, won Organization President of the Year. Becca Kheiry, the project manager for EWB’s work in Uganda, won Student Leader of the Year, and EWB itself won Organization of the Year. Bryce Linkous, current president of EWB accepted the club award. Congratulations to Halle, Becca, Bryce and all the members of EWB for all their hard work making the world a better place!
