Paper Engineering Students Awarded Williams Leadership Scholarships

The Paper Science & Engineering Foundation at Miami University recently awarded eight Bob and Barbara Williams Leadership Scholarships to students in the paper science and engineering curriculum who demonstrate superior leadership, creativity, and academic achievements. These prestigious awards are full tuition scholarships. Recipients of these highly competitive awards were selected by a committee of nine. The 2017-18 winners are: Catherine Andres, Daniel Knettel, Olivia Koury, Jack Parrish, Madison Ryan, Isabelle Tessier, Jesse Via and Caleb Wright.

The scholarships are provided through the generosity of The Bob and Barbara Williams Foundation. Mr. Williams was a force in the global pulp and paper industry as co-founder of the James River Corporation. His legacy continues to be felt through his foundation’s encouragement of high leadership standards for graduating engineers.
