Spring Career Fair

On Feb. 12, the spring career fair will be held in Millet Hall from 1-5 p.m..

Students should attend wearing business professional clothes, as well as bring paper copies of their résumé to give to employers they are interested in.

In preparation for the event, students can view the fair on Handshake to see which employers will be attending, what positions they have available and other helpful information.Career Fair

In addition to individual preparation, Erin Dunn-Vogler, Career Liaison to CEC, will be holding a brief question and answer session on Feb. 5, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Garland 165. Here, students should feel free to discuss expectations, résumé touch-ups and more.

Because all CEC students are all receiving the same technical training within their field, Dunn-Vogler explains why the career fair is so crucial to attend.

“It’s extra important, actually, for CEC students to attend,” she says. “What you can show employers [in person] is how you stand apart.”

Check-in for the fair will begin at noon, with tours every 20 minutes for those who may not feel comfortable visiting tables by themselves.
