A task force working to advance diversity, equity and inclusion at Miami University has proposed a broad slate of more than 40 recommendations. Miami University senior Priyana Kalita was among 316 student-athletes who attended the inaugural Transformative Leadership Badge Program recently. The Mid-American Conference (MAC) hosted it via Zoom. The program focused on holistic human development was created at the recommendation of Miami President Greg Crawford and with the unanimous endorsement of the MAC Council of Presidents.
Among the benefits for students are guaranteed admission to select graduate programs, stipends for study abroad, access to research funding and priority course registration.
