Scholarships

The following undergraduate scholarships are sponsored by the SLAM Department, thanks to generous gifts from donors and are reserved for current sophomore, junior or first semester seniors:

Margaret E. Phillips Grant

  • SLAM major
  • Female student with sophomore, junior or first semester senior standing
  • Demonstration of financial need
  • Involved in campus activities
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0 cumulative

Hays Sports Study Scholarship

  • Sport Studies/Sport Leadership & Management major
  • Junior or Senior standing
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in designated sport studies courses
  • Must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of designated sport studies coursework

Financial need is a criterion for most of our scholarships. The financial aid application can be submitted online at fafsa.ed.gov.
