Over fall break, the Center For Career Exploration and Success (Katie Bowling and Michael Turner) along with SLAM faculty, Dr. Melissa Chase and Dr. Sam Morris traveled to New York City for a Sports & Entertainment Career Trek with 14 Miami students. Students had the opportunity to visit NBC Sports, Madison Square Garden, NFL Headquarters and meet individually with Ira Berkow. Students had a wonderful time exploring various career paths in the sport industry, as well as New York City. Special thanks to Bobby Goldwater '74, President at the Goldwater Group and former SLAM Alumni in Residence, for connecting our students with an impressive list of sport leaders.
