The Farmer School of Business has been ranked as a top five public undergraduate school for median starting salary after graduation by GradReports.com for 2020.

Using Department of Education data, GradReports said that Farmer School graduates had a median starting salary of $61,800, which placed it 4th in the nation among public universities. The Farmer School's marketing program also ranked 4th among public universities for median starting salary after graduation at $52,800.

"Miami University is a top-notch undergraduate institution that will not only prepare you for your career, but also your future. The student experience is unlike any other that I have seen or heard about. When I went into Miami, I was half of the person I am today. Lots of schools advertise student involvement, but Miami means it." PwC associate and 2019 accounting graduate Joshua Sekerak said in a review on the site.

“Management and Leadership is a quality program. I gained a lot of knowledge and skills in management, but I also gained invaluable experiences,” 2013 graduate Lauren Swaidner said in another review. “In one of my classes, I worked with a real world client to solve a real world challenge in their company. The experience allowed me to network and gain experience. I am still in touch with my "client" today, and she has given me advice on resumes and career changes.”

"We are pleased that the marketplace so highly values our graduates, who are, as David Meyer, Partner at EY, says, 'client-ready from day one,'" Farmer School dean Marc Rubin said. "We believe the emphasis we place on communication and leadership skills, as well as our students’ experience working with clients on projects and in internships, translates into graduates who are beyond ready to seamlessly transition to the workforce.”

Renowned for its emphasis on undergraduate teaching and the success of its graduates, the Farmer School places emphasis on experiential learning, international study and leadership development to prepare students to become leaders in the workplace and the community.
