International Education Week 2020 Goes Virtual

Stack of books with small international flags. Text International Education Week Nov. 16-20, MiamiOH.edu/IEW

International Education Week (IEW), November 16-20, 2020, is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of their efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Although it looks a bit different this year, #IEW2020 offers an occasion for Miami and Global Initiatives to salute the students, staff, and faculty who seek international educational opportunities across borders and disciplines.

A few highlights are presented here, but visit MiamiOH.edu/IEW for a complete calendar of events, follow us on social media, or look for us on The Hub. We hope you'll take a study break and join us!

All events are free and open to the public. All times are Eastern Standard Time (EST)
