A non-degree/non-certificate seeking student is also known as a Continuing Graduate Status (CGS) student that: 

  • Can enroll in graduate-level course(s) without pursuing a graduate degree or certificate program.
  • Can apply up to 12 credit hours towards a graduate degree program and 4 credit hours to a graduate certificate program. 

Please note that non-degree/non-certificate students may not enroll in all courses as the department or program may have limited enrollment. Contact the graduate department about enrollment restrictions.

Admission Requirments

Application Materials 

  • Submit the online application
  • Pay the non-refundable $20 application fee
  • Provide a copy of the green card (if applicable)

Baccalaureate or Professional Degree

  • Applicants must have earned at least a U.S. equivalent Baccalaureate degree.
