Seasonal flu vaccines (Quadrivalent) are now available  for Miami employees (both full time and part time) and family members (18+ dependents/spouse on Anthem health plan) through the collaborative efforts of Miami Benefits and Wellness and the Miami TriHealth Health Services Center.

All employees are encouraged to get a flu vaccination.  If you are a participant on the health plan, you have other options to get the flu vaccine (like your doctor’s office or pharmacy) in addition to the dates/times listed below.  If you are a part-time employee or not a participant on the Miami health plan, the following dates/times are offered as a convenient way to get the vaccine. As a reminder, if you are pregnant or have a health condition check with your primary care provider before getting the flu vaccine.

No cost for all Miami employees, regardless of benefit eligibility (Miami faculty/staff ID required)
No cost for family members (18+) covered by Miami’s health plan (Anthem insurance card required)

If you are not available to get your vaccination on one of the dates above, you can call the Miami Employee Health Center (421 S. Campus Ave, Oxford Campus) at 513-529-3000 to schedule an appointment, Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. Validated parking available.

• Please review the COVID-19 safety measures in place for flu shot events
• Flu vaccine is covered at 100% on the Miami Health plan if you wish to receive it at a local retail pharmacy or medical provider office
• You (or your covered dependent) must be at least 18 years of age to get a flu shot at Miami University
• Emeriti/Retirees, please visit your physician or local retail pharmacy for a flu shot
• Please work with your physician if you require latex free vaccine
