Premium Discount Program - 2020 Updates and Reminders
The Healthy Miami Premium Discount Program (PDP) offers participants who complete certain preventive health steps, to earn a discount on their future health insurance premiums.
Relative to previous years, some details of the PDP have changed for 2020 in response to COVID-19. This is a friendly reminder to review the PDP webpage to see the detailed list of changes and learn how your 2020 steps have been adjusted. For example, the cancer screening steps have been waived, telehealth visits accepted for PCP well visit, and deadline to complete steps extended to 12/31/20.
Updated Way to Receive Wellness Information
With the completion of your Health Plan Consent, you receive notifications when points are awarded to your account from HealthyMiami@Cerner.com. In the near future, Cerner Wellness, Miami’s wellness vendor that hosts the Healthy Miami accounts, will provide updates and reminders regarding your participation in the Premium Discount Program. You can update your email information in Healthy Miami by logging into your account (click on your username in the upper right corner and then notifications).
Help & Connection Options
We can’t sit face to face right now but we can schedule google meet, webex or zoom calls to assist you in completing certain online PDP steps. Beginning today, you can schedule a 1 to 1 virtual help session in your Healthy Miami account’s “Upcoming Events” section. We are here to help and you have several options: schedule a private virtual session through your Healthy Miami account, join a group call any Wednesday at 2 pm, or call Benefits & Wellness (513 529 3926) M - F, 8 am to 5 pm.
How to Check Your Points
The best way to check is to log into your Healthy Miami account and visit the My Points page. Please remember to complete your Health Plan Consent in your Healthy Miami account which will help to avoid any additional delays in getting the data to update the points in your account. This year, the deadline to complete the steps is December 31, 2020 however, points will continue to be uploaded through January 31, 2021.
