Three finalists have been named as candidates for the position of provost and executive vice president of academic affairs at Miami University. Open forums are scheduled for each: Phyllis Callahan (Nov. 13-14), James Coleman (Nov. 17-18) and Neville Pinto (Nov. 20-21).

Celebrated Chinese artist gifts hand-carved seal to Miami
Qingyuan Hu, celebrated Chinese artist and professor at Tsinghua University in Beijing, gifted a 7 1/2" by 2 3/8" hand-carved soapstone seal to Miami University. The Miami University Art Museum will showcase the seal this spring.

Oxford Empty Bowls: Soup luncheon benefits Oxford Community Choice Pantry
