All courses in the program are offered online, with many of them offered during the summer. The flexibility of the online program allows you to earn your degree without sacrificing the demands of your busy schedule. Students enrolled full-time can earn a degree in as little as 12-14 months.

Pathways for your needs

K-12 teachers can also choose to complete the Computer/Technology Endorsement, a condensed sequence of seven online courses designed to foster teacher-leaders to guide and support students and colleagues in digital age teaching and learning.

Get Started with Admission

To apply for the M.Ed. in Educational Technology online, you'll need:

  • A four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution (with at least a 2.75 grade point average)
  • College transcripts
  • Personal statement (500-750 words) on a topic pertinent to your professional reasons for pursuing the degree
  • Resume/CV
  • Two (2) professional letters of recommendation addressing one's potential for advanced graduate study

You'll also need to hold current K-12 licensure and provide a signed statement confirming that you have no record of felony conviction (required by the state of Ohio for practice in schools).
