Register for Classes

The One Stop Registration page has great information for all Miami students and is the first option under Quick Links. There, you'll find the Academic Calendar, how to find your Time Ticket and Academic Advisor, and video tutorials on how to select and register for courses. Under Quick Links, you'll also find information about taking classes on other Miami campuses, including an updated list of advisors in Oxford divisions, and Regional-specific information about Banner Waitlisting and the ROR system. If you have any questions about registration, contact us by calling 513-727-3440 or email regAdvising@MiamiOH.edu.

Find Your Regional Advisor

Find your Academic Advisor by typing "Who is my Advisor?" into the myMiami search field. Current students are shown the name and contact information for your assigned advisor. You can schedule an appointment with professional advisors through Navigate.  Some faculty advisors will ask you to contact them by email to schedule an appointment. If you have questions or cannot reach your assigned advisor, contact us at regadvising@MiamiOH.edu.

Academic Calendar/Refund Schedule

The Academic Calendar includes important dates, including 'drop-without-a-grade' and "drop-with-a-W" deadlines for each term. Dates can be different for different parts of term (called "sprints"), so checking the Academic Calendar is important. The Academic Calendar does not include information on financial deadlines. For financial information, especially for classes you drop, see the Refund Schedule or contact the Regional One Stop at 513-217-4111.

Course List & Regional Time Tickets

The One Stop Registration website has detailed information about finding classes using the Course List, and planning for registration in advance of your Time Ticket, the time during which you will have priority registration access.  Regional and Oxford Time Tickets can be different, so be sure you know yours in advance by looking it up in BannerWeb. Contact us at regadvising@MiamiOH.edu with questions.

Not a Current Student?

New Incoming Students

If you are a new incoming student, follow the instructions in your application materials and on the New Student Checklist on myMiami to complete the orientation process. You will meet with an advisor during your orientation advising appointment.

Returning Former Students

If you have previously completed coursework as a degree-seeking student at any of the three Miami campuses but have been away from Miami for a semester or more, you are a re-enrolling student. You should complete the re-enrollment form before registering for courses. After your re-enrollment application is completed, you can call our office at 513-727-3440 to schedule an appointment with an advisor.

Update Your Application

If you have never enrolled in classes but have applied to Miami Regionals before, contact Regionals Admission to update your application.
