What is Work+?

Work+ is a program designed to benefit partner employers and Miami University Regionals students. Partner employers have vacant and high turnover entry level positions. Miami University Regional students need to meet the financial demands of college. Work+ students are hired into entry level positions and make commitments to the company for one year at a time. The Work+ employers provide an hourly wage and pay the tuition and general fees for each of their Work+ students. Work+ students work approximately 24 hours per week and attend classes full-time.

Paid Tuition

Once you're hired by one of our partner employers, simply sign an agreement with your employer agreeing to work at that company for at least the next calendar year. In exchange for fulfilling the agreement, the employer pays your full tuition bill for fall and spring semesters. Note: Tuition and general fees are paid by the employer. Special purpose and course fees not included.

Weekly Pay

Students in the Work+ program earn above minimum wage. The best part is that your paycheck stays in your pocket AND your tuition is paid.

Valuable Work Experience

While students’ Work+ jobs will likely not directly relate to their chosen major, students will learn valuable life and professional skills that transfer to any career. Prospective future employers will value the dedication and dependability demonstrated by participation in the program.
