Jennifer Clark has been appointed director of external relations and communications for Miami University Regionals.

“Jennifer has really ingrained herself in the community. She is a relationship builder and will have a huge impact on the Regionals,” Vice President and Dean Ande Durojaiye said in announcing her appointment.

A Cincinnati native, Clark attended the University of Cincinnati on a basketball scholarship while earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She later received her Masters of Business Administration from Miami and taught marketing classes on the Oxford, Hamilton, and Middletown campuses.

“I am excited to continue my Miami career at the Regionals,” Clark said. “There are great opportunities ahead, and I appreciate the opportunity to work with our dedicated faculty and staff to achieve our vision of empowering minds and strengthening communities.”

Clark is currently Miami’s regional development director for greater Cincinnati. She served as the director of membership and marketing for the Miami University Alumni Association from 2002-2010.

She became familiar with the communities served by the Regionals during her pre-Miami work experience. That included working in Middletown for Crystal Creative Products, where she rose from product manager to vice president for marketing and product development.

At the Regionals, Clark will supervise a team that includes development, public programming, alumni, marketing, and internal and external communications. Her responsibilities include coordinating Regionals’ work with Miami’s ASPIRE (Advancing Strategy, Partnerships, Institutional Relations, and Economy) division in streamlining and broadening connections with partners in business, government, and the community.

Clark lives in Fairfield with her husband, Tom, who works for Miami’s IT Services, and their daughter Anna.
