Our assessments can help you narrow down which majors and careers to consider by taking a look at your personality, interests, and preferences.

MyMajors is a short quiz that recommends Miami University majors you might like based on your responses.

Focus 2 is a self-assessment tool that will allow you to learn about yourself and what careers or majors might be a good fit for you. Users can access Focus 2 using the access code 'redhawks'.

After taking one or both of these assessments, feel free to make an appointment with one of our career advisors to go over your results and create an action plan.

O*NET Online is a career database with detailed job descriptions. You can sort through jobs using various filters (“bright outlook,” industry, skills, etc.) or you can search for careers you are already considering.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a resource from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics that provides extensive information about careers, including average pay and growth potential.

Vault Career Insider provides in-depth intelligence on what it's really like to work in an industry, company or profession and how students can position themselves to land that perfect job.
