Report a Title IX Incident

All reports or concerns about conduct that may violate Title IX should be reported to the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Students.

The Deputy Title IX Coordinator may be reached in the Dean of Students office located on the first floor of Warfield Hall, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio 45056, 513-529-1877 or titleix@MiamiOH.edu

Reporting to Miami University and/or law enforcement: Anyone who believes they have experienced sexual misconduct or interpersonal violence may report both to the university’s Deputy Title IX Coordinator and pursue criminal charges against the person or persons they believe to have committed the crime. A criminal charge and a university investigation may be pursued at the same time. Support and resources are available to students regardless of criminal charges, university investigations or university disciplinary action.

Reporting for another person: A report should be made on behalf of any person who is incapacitated and unable to report. Reports may be made by anyone who has experienced a Title IX violation or others on their behalf who have a reasonable belief that sexual misconduct may have occurred.

Anonymous reporting: Anonymous reports will be accepted; however, the university’s options for investigating or resolving anonymous reports may be limited because of the unique challenges presented.
