Collegiate Leadership Competition

The Collegiate Leadership Competition (CLC) is a non-profit college leadership program. It creates a dynamic practice field where students apply what they’re learning in a context that stretches them to the boundaries of their leadership knowledge, skills and abilities. The CLC makes leadership a real, tangible experience for the future of corporate and organizational leaders.

Each fall semester, coaches recruit six team members to represent Miami University in the Collegiate Leadership Competition. The CLC provides the coaches with everything they need to recruit, support and succeed. CLC practices are held during the spring semester and then in April, teams from schools across the region participate in a high-energy action-filled competition.

If you participate in the CLC, you’ll experience a life-changing leadership learning experience. Through the competition you’ll develop and deepen your leadership skills, increase your understanding of your personal strengths and areas of improvement. During practices, you grow your personal and professional network by interacting with coaches, judges, peers and community leaders all while serving as a Miami University representative at a national, competitive level. Through the CLC, you’ll build your resume by showing genuine dedication and commitment to your leadership development journey.
