National Fellowships and Honor Societies

The Honors College encourages all Miami University students and alumni to pursue membership in selective honor societies and compete for national scholarships or fellowships to pursue graduate school, study abroad, or professional development.

Honors Student Advisory Board (HSAB)

HSAB is a student organization that serves as the link between the Honors student community and Honors College staff and faculty. This board has structured teams devoted to planning and programming a wide variety of events for the Honors community. This includes formal and informal social events, service opportunities, student-faculty networking, health and wellness activities, and much more.

Honors Study Abroad

Our Honors-exclusive study abroad programs take place every winter and summer term at the Miami University Dolibois European Center (MUDEC) in Luxembourg or other European countries. Study alongside other Honors students with top Miami faculty in their respective fields. Immerse yourself in Europe's rich cultures and make memories to last a lifetime — all while engaging in rigorous research and experiential learning.

Urban Leadership Internship Program (ULIP)

Current Miami students in their second or third year may apply for Miami's Urban Leadership Internship Program: a summer internship program combining professional practice, civic engagement, and leadership development with urban exploration in the Dayton community. Discover Dayton during the summer while furthering your academic and professional goals in an exciting new way.
