The Center for Analytics and Data Science is a hub on Miami's campus where students, faculty and corporate sponsors can all Collaborate, educate and innovate. Here we are focused on turning data into insights and insights into actions.

What We Do

CADS aspires to serve as the hub for all-things-analytics at Miami University.

Collaborate:

CADS identifies opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration. We connect students, faculty, and corporate partners to solve real world problems. 

Educate:

CADS offers co-curricular workshops for students to expand their analytical skills set. Programs are focused on quantitative skills development for the workforce.

Innovate:

CADS hosts a yearly event called DataFest, which is a student-facing event involving a weekend-long hackathon.

Who Are We?

The Center for Analytics and Data Science promotes education, collaboration, and innovation in analytics and data science across a mutli-disciplinary group of students, faculty, and organizational leaders.

Our Faculty Fellows

CADS is committed to helping individuals of all levels fine-tune their current analytical skills, and develop me ones. In partnership with our faculty fellows, we aim to offer a variety of events and programs.
