Celebrating two years of accomplishment, the Center for Analytics and Data Science (CADS) hosted its First Annual Recognition Luncheon on May 5, 2017. Nearly 75 guests were in attendance to recognize the talent involved in creating and growing CADS.

Established in May 2015, CADS reflected back on its beginning and looked forward to what’s next. The event brought together the faculty, staff, students, and partners that have dedicated their time and resources to CADS over the last two years.

During the event, CADS announced five faculty members that are receiving grants through the CADS Summer Research Fellowship program to encourage new research in analytics or data science. In addition, CADS recognized five students that received EY-sponsored scholarships. The EY scholarship winners are each high performing analytics students with an interest in consulting and public accounting.

At the conclusion of the event, guests were invited to walk around the room as many student interns showcased their work during a poster session.
