On January 27, ten students obtained the SAS Enterprise Miner Professional Certification by sitting for and passing the Predictive Modeler Certification Exam. This exam is a professional certification recognized globally in the Advanced Analytics Category.

As part of the exam students were tested both on the expertise in the SAS Enterprise Miner software and their predictive modeling knowledge. Senior finance and analytics major, Spencer Reynolds stated, "I wanted to take the exam to both show employers the skills I have learned in class and to diversify myself from the rest of the student body in this technological era."
