Summer Skating Schools

Online Registration System

Registration for the 2022 summer camps is being managed through a new online system. Previous camper account information and passwords will NOT work in the NEW Active Network system. You will create your account during the registration/check-out process.
Do NOT click the sign-in button to start your registration, simply pick the camp you want to attend and proceed through to checkout where you will create your account name/password at that time.
We have been advised there is no need to create an account in advance as the process is quick.

Synchronized Skating Experience
JR Elite Synchronized Skating Experience

Miami Skating is excited to announce the return of synchronized skating camps this summer! There will be three camps offered based on age and skill level in an effort to optimize each camper's experience. We will be hosting the Elite Synchronized Skating Experience, the new JR Elite Synchronized Skating Experience and have revamped 'SychroCamp' to mirror both the Elite & Junior Elite instructional format. What this means is every camper will get more individualized instruction, be exposed to a wider range of elements and have a chance to skate with others who are of more similar age and skill level.

Extra Camp Details

All campers are divided into groups based on 1) Moves in the Field Tests 2) Jumps Landed 3) Age. It is imperative that all campers complete these required fields during the registration process to ensure we are placing all campers in the correct groups. Groups with campers working on double jumps and Novice and above MIF test patterns will have fewer campers in each group to allow for adequate space on the ice and safety for all skaters during patterns and private lessons.

Roommate requests are also part of the registration process. If two skaters wish to be roommates, they must EACH request the other skater on their registrations. If no roommate request is designated or if BOTH skaters do not request each other, the skater(s) will be placed in an individual room with no roommate.

All final room assignments are determined at the discretion of the camp director. All rooming assignments are based on double occupancy as provided by the University. Triple roommate request are not accepted, but may need to occur due to university needs and cannot be requested by campers.

Day Camper Fees include all programming and supervision throughout the day. Also includes lunch at a university dining facility during full camp days only.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are led by a team of highly qualified coaches. Lessons are available in all disciplines, including freestyle, ice dance, moves in the field and choreography during freestyle sessions. Private lesson costs are separate from the 'Camper Fee'. Information will be provided via email mid-June and must be returned by stated deadlines.
