The Goggin Ice Center offers several additional training opportunities for hockey players looking to further develop their skills.

Freestyle Hockey

Dates: Thursdays from 5:25 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sessions offered August 31 - April 26. No sessions on November 23 and December 28.

Cost: $9.50 per session

Freestyle Hockey sessions are open to hockey players of all levels to practice their individual skating and stick handling skills.

  • Rental equipment is available
  • Private lesson instruction is available during these sessions.

NOTE: this is not a drop-in game session.


Pre-Season Hockey

2008-2003 | Monday/Wednesday, August 9 - September 8, 2021 | 7:25-8:25pm

 

Target Ages: 8 years old through High School

This camp is intended to prepare players for the upcoming hockey season. 10U/12U and 14U /High School players will skate together, and each group will be given specific drills appropriate for each level.

Tryout Training Camp

2009-2004 | Tuesday/Thursday, March 15-April 19, 2022 | 7:25-8:15pm

 

Target Ages: 8 years old through High School

This camp is intended to provide post-season training for players preparing for their upcoming season. 10U, 12U, and 14U High School players skate together but each level is given specific drills appropriate for each level. Players will be grouped based upon their age for the upcoming season.

Practice Curriculum

  • Power skating
  • Stick handling
  • Puck control
  • Passing/shooting
  • Small area games

*Spaces are limited to 40 skaters in each age bracket.

8U/Beginner Day Camp
Monday - Thursday, August 2-5
10:00am-2:00pm daily
 
Target Ages: 2013 Birth Year & younger and Beginner hockey participants
 
This camp will focus on skills development, edge work, agility, balance, passing, shooting and small area games.
The format will include two 1-hour on-ice sessions and attendees will also take part in classroom sessions, video sessions and off-ice activities.
Cost: $250.00
