Good to Know
- KNH classes have priority in Phillips Hall from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.., Monday through Friday.
Youth Access
Children 7 years and older are not permitted in the locker room of the opposite sex. An all gender locker room is available for use by parents and their children age 7 and older.
For children 14 years and under:
- Must be directly supervised (i.e., in the same activity area) by a paying parent or legal guardian — be they a member or a daily pass holder — at all times. Infants may not be left unattended and strollers are not permitted in activity areas.
- Are only permitted in the following areas with direct adult supervision:
- Fitness Center
- Track
- Exercise Performance Rooms
- Hot Tub/Spa (ages 8–14 may use the hot tub but are restricted to the first 15 minutes of the hour)
Teenagers ages 15–17 may purchase their own membership or daily pass provided a parent or legal guardian is present during the membership registration and signs the Informed Consent Waiver/Release Form.
Campus Avenue Parking Garage
Location: 547 S. Campus Ave. Oxford, OH 45056
All non-university-affiliated Rec Center members may park in the Campus Avenue Garage for up to two (2) hours (Red Circle) at no charge. The Rec Center staff will handle all parking ticket validation, please bring your ticket into the Rec when you arrive.
During Special Event parking in the garage, Rec Center members can park in the Rec Center Oak Street and the S. Campus Avenue (Black Circles) surface lots as long as they have a white pass. Special event parking occurs during hockey games, large swim meets, and some other campus activities.
Oak Street and Campus Avenue Surface Lots
A University red permit is required Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.. A valid University permit of any color may be used outside of these times Monday–Friday and on weekends. Rec Center members may park in the Oak Street or Campus Avenue lots by the Rec Center at any time with a handicap tag/sticker & a FREE White Miami University Parking Permit obtained from Parking Services.
FREE White University permits are available at this time. The University white permit allows parking in the Harris Drive parking lots or the Chestnut Fields parking lot (the old Talawanda High School). These permits may be obtained in person at 128 Campus Avenue Building.
