Registration Override Request (ROR) System

Several CAS departments are piloting the ROR system that will ultimately replace the current force-add process.

Students can submit their request via the course list. To do so, you must:

  1. Login (top right-hand corner of page) using your unique ID and myMiami password.
  2. Determine if the course is part of the ROR system, by selecting the ? following Registration Override Request Instructions (upper left corner).
  3. Find the course you want to force-add.
  4. Select Submit Registration Override Request.
    • Rank the sections you are willing to accept (in order of preference).
    • Provide a reason for the request.
  5. Select Submit.
    • You will receive a confirmation email that the request was received.

Requests will not be reviewed until after Open Registration has begun; you will receive an email when a decision has been made.

There are additional instructions are at the top of the course list page. This is where a student can see what courses are included in the ROR pilot. See step 2 above.

If a student does not see the Submit Registration Override Request option for a participating course, he/she can call One Stop at 513-529-0001 for assistance.

Bannerweb Waitlist System

Some departments will be using a waitlist in Bannerweb. The One Stop website has extensive information about the Bannerweb Waitlist System, including a step-by-step walk-through for how you can add yourself to a waitlist for a specific course.
