Dr. Theresa Ervin Conover is an Associate Professor in the Department of Justice & Community Studies at Miami University Regionals. Her research and scholarship include problem-solving approaches to address crime and quality of life issues, the criminology of place, and the role community engagement play in crime prevention and public safety.  Dr. Conover’s recent research appears in the Journal of Criminal Justice Education, International Journal of Police Science and Management, Journal of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and SAGE Research Method Cases. She also conducts research for police departments and local community organizations focusing on police and community satisfaction, levels of community participation, and perceptions of safety.
