2022 Colonial Senior Services Long-Term Care Research Recipients

Congratulations to the 2022 Colonial Senior Services Long-Term Care Research recipients: Dayna Bennett, Kamryn Kasler, and Reese Moore! Each year, the Colonial Services Long-Term Care Research award is presented to a gerontology graduate student for outstanding research or program development in long-term care. In addition to this recognition, the selected graduate is presented with $500 for professional expenses. The award is funded by a contribution from Colonial Senior Services of Hamilton, Ohio to the Scripps Gerontology Center.
Dayna Bennett - MGS Student
Bennett obtained a BA in Gerontology from Miami University and is currently a second-year MGS student. Bennett's research interests include skilled nursing facilities, quality measures, direct care staffing, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Kamryn Kasler - MGS Student
Kasler received a BA in Gerontology from Miami University and is currently a first-year MGS student. Her research interests include aging policy, aging and health, and person-centered care.
Reese Moore - PhD Student
Moore received a BA in Psychology from Webster University and a MGS from Miami University. Currently, Moore is a first-year PhD student with research interests in older adult representation in various forms of media, ageism, and age-friendly communities
