During the next 20 years, the national population, as well as the population in Ohio, will grow older. In anticipation of this impending change, we have created this series of reports to help Ohio area agencies on aging, service providers, and other organizations that are not directly involved in aging services to better plan for the needs of the aging population. The purpose of this report is to provide the profile of the older population (60+) in Ohio and to project the number of older people and the prevalence of disability among this population.
