Managerial ownership in nursing homes: Staffing, quality, and financial performance

This paper uses facility-level data to determine whether staffing levels, quality, and financial performance is different among nursing homes operated as a nonprofit, a for-profit with an owner-manager, and a for-profit with a salaried manager.
