Dr. Maura Stephens-Chu is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology. She is a Medical and Cultural Anthropologist, focusing on menstruation and other women's sexual and reproductive health topics in Japan. She also has an interest in Gender and Sexuality Studies and taboos. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
