High School Credit
Post-Secondary Credit Options
Every year, outstanding students from area schools participate in Miami’s Post-Secondary plan and take classes on campus. This program provides an opportunity for outstanding high school students to earn college credit.
Admission to this program requires that students:
- (Ordinarily) rank in the upper 20 percent of their class
- Have a high school average of at least a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Have an ACT composite of 24.
Other criteria vary by grade level. Students should first consult with their high school guidance counselors.
Questions regarding admission to Miami and eligibility should be directed to the appropriate Office of Admission (Hamilton, Middletown, or Oxford).
