Congratulations to our very own undergraduate Geology student Elizabeth O'Brien on bring named a recipient of a 2019 Provost Student Academic Achievement Award! Elizabeth has undertaken several research projects during her time in our department in the fields of mineralogy and petrology, has presented her research at Miami's Undergraduate Research Forum as well as at the annual Geological Society of America meeting, in addition to being available as a tutor for several of our 100 and 200-level courses! Thank you for being such an active member of our department Elizabeth and congratulations again!
