Congratulations to PhD candidates Liannie Velazquez Santana and Calvin Anderson on their recent Fall 2020 Graduate Student Achievement Awards!  Awarded by the Graduate School, Liannie and Calvin received 2 of the 5 awards announced this past award cycle.  Liannie's research focuses on investigating the magmatic processes the occur inside magmatic systems at one of the world's most tectonically active regions, the Andes, while Calvin's research focuses on evaluating solid-state ion conduction and isotopic fractionation processes during the growth of wire silver.  Congratulations again to our wonderful graduate students!
