Undergraduates Madeline Murchland and Mackenzie Rutherford, along with advisor John Rakovan have been awarded an Undergraduate Research Award in the amount of $900 to conduct spring research on Mineralogical Characterization of Hicks Dome Intrusive Core Samples and Related Fluorite Mineralization, Southern Illinois.  This award category provides a student team an opportunity to collaborate with at least one faculty mentor across student team members' disciplinary boundaries.  Congratulations to Madeline, Mackenzie and John on this award!
