Work in Progress and Collaboration

At present, I'm continuing the finalization of the research questions started during my graduate studies: mapping bark bacteria to better understand their reciprocal interaction with forest watersheds, and an investigation into throughfall base cation chemistry in the mid-Atlantic region.

Additionally, with colleagues at the University of Koblenz-Landau and the University of Barcelona, we are working on a proposal to characterize the biogeochemical niches of Fagus sp. in the northern hemisphere.
