Dan Behnke
Instructor of Strategic Communication, Online Course Coordinator
Behnke taught courses in communication at the University of Dayton from 2000 - 2011. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati, and his master's degree from the University of Dayton, both in communication. Currently, he is teaching Introduction to Video Production (MAC 211), Principles of Public Speaking in-class and online (STC 135) and Business Communication (BUS 308). He is also co-directing a study abroad program in the UK entitled Inside London (MAC 499). Behnke started developing and teaching STC 135 online to fulfill Miami's online course development initiatives and was a member of the Top 25 E-Faculty Learning Community which was designed to continually develop top 25 courses online. He was also a member of the Faculty Learning Community entitled: Shaping CAS Online Curriculum 2014 to 2020. Behnke is continually interested in opportunities related to developing and utilizing technologies to enhance the face to face and e-learning environment, and he enjoys working with other faculty members to help them develop their e-learning initiatives as well.
