Shara Clark

Visiting Instructor of Strategic Communication

Shara ClarkShara Clark, APR, is an award-winning communicator with more than 17 years of experience in strategic communications, public relations and social media. She has substantial background in nonprofit PR and corporate communications, focused primarily in insurance and financial services for a Fortune 500 company.

Her teaching load includes Strategic Communication Planning, Social Media Strategies and the Capstone on Strategic Communication and Public Relations. In addition, Clark is the faculty advisor for the Miami chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America which is one of the top five largest chapters in the country.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and Public Relations from Miami University, and has received a Certificate in Social Media from Cincinnati State. In 2013, she received her APR (Accredited Public Relations) designation from the Universal Accreditation Board through the Public Relations Society of America.

Clark has been actively involved in the Cincinnati Public Relations Society of America where she currently serves on the board as president and has been a delegate to the National Assembly. She has also volunteered her time on the public relations committees for the Cincinnati YWCA and the Ron Clark Academy.
