Miles P. Davis specializes in media sociology with specific interest regarding labor practices
affect the construction of news. He has published in the journals International Journal of
Communication and Journalism.
Davis recently finished his PhD in University of Colorado-Boulder’s Media Research and
Practice program in the journalism track. Prior to graduate school, Davis worked as a copyeditor
at the English language daily newspaper Hurriyet Daily News, which is located in Istanbul,
Turkey
