The Journalism Program schedules group advising sessions each semester, but majors also are encouraged to schedule one-on-one meetings with a Journalism faculty member for individualized attention at least one a year. Email Journalism Area Coordinator Rosemary Pennington to set up your one-on-one advising session.

The first-year Media & Communication (formerly Media & Culture) adviser is Dr. Ron Becker. 

The Strategic Communication advising is done by all the STC faculty. Christe McKittrick is the chief advisor for the major.

If you wish to change your advising assignment, please contact the MJF master program associate, Denise Withrow, in 120 Williams Hall. We cannot guarantee we can accommodate your request, but will make every attempt to do so.

To plan and discuss completion of your College of Arts & Science and Miami Plan course requirements, schedule an appointment with an adviser in the College's Advising Office, 146 Upham Hall.
